Wario was’a browsing the web and’a discovered AN[OTHER M], a kickstarter for a Metroid hip-hop EP, produced by Sammus, an awesome woman of color hip-hop producer from New York. Wario is a huge fan of’a the adventures of Samus Aran and the Metroid games, and Wario loves the music of’a the Metroid series, so naturally Wario wants to hear this! Wahaha!
I will be producing beats that are inspired by the music of the Metroid games and rapping from the perspective of Ms. Aran as she traverses the galaxy in search of her disembodied nemesis Mother Brain.
Wario encourages you to check out Sammus’s kickstarter and tumblr and listen to some of her previous works! The kickstarter has been funded as of a few hours ago, but it’s still got 22 days and a stretch goal of $4350 for the creation of a music video. Wario wants to see’a that happen! WAAAAAAAAA

More old pixelart stuff I have lying around.
I never had a NES as a kid, nor am I really a Metroid fan. Just felt like 2x scale pixel redraw. Fun to use the limited palette, however having a larger scale to draw with. Not even sure if her armour design is the correct one on Samus here.
